What many would call a tagline, we view as a direct-action declaration for everyone who cares about and is willing to fight for the future of all life on Planet Ocean. The ocean is our life support system, and we know that the threats to the ocean are unprecedented, increasing, and existential. But, as Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Leon Panetta said, “it doesn’t mean a damn thing unless we’re all willing to fight for it.”
Yes, Planet Ocean needs you, and we need Warriors to help us protect and preserve the ocean for future generations. To have the necessary, positive impact, we need the active engagement and involvement of thousands of people around the world, not just supporters but active volunteers. And, whether on land or at sea, volunteering with the Ocean Warrior Society is a great way to make a positive difference for Planet Ocean!
Here are the different ways that you can Join The Fight:

The important on-shore activities OWS Volunteers can help and/or be involved with include: Beach cleanups/debris removal campaigns, Educational Programs, Fundraising, Media Production, Outreach, Social Media, Ship Maintenance, Special Event Coordination, and Training.

Global Fleet
As we build our global fleet, the need for dedicated and qualified crew members will increase significantly. As an OWS Fleet Crew Member, you will be on the frontlines of direct-action ocean conservation. We will also need key personnel to help us maintain multiple bases of operation and training facilities.
